Well, what happened with Mother Teresa? She gave great service to the poor and remained poor. What about really great teachers? They teach thousands of students and never become rich. People who serve others are not seeking "money" for money's sake -- they are seeking richer rewards. Rewards that are not monetary. What about Buddha? What about Ghandi? What about Jesus? Plato? Aristotle? Soctrates? The truly great persons in history were not rich, but gave great service that still reverberates today. Now, take a look at those that were really rich and seemed to be providing a "service," -- you're left with trying to define the type of energy expended.

Kevin,

This dovetails nicely into our conversation about generosity, and how being a "giving" person expresses to the universe the thought that 'I have more than I need,' which creates the reality of having more than you need. This trancends physical money, of course, and applies to every sort of "giving" that one is capable of. Nicely said, my friend.

Kevin,

Absolutely it's service that matters and in reality money is an exchange of energy. When someone enjoys the service you offer they are willing to pay for it. Relationships are most important and unlike some books out there that discuss the Law of Attraction as a mechanical approach, I'm really impressed by "Nexus: A Neo Novel" where Logan might die or live. This creates compassion, which is probably where service starts.
