About Creative Power of Thought

Kevin Kinchen - Creative Power of Thought

Creative Power of Thought is devoted to the further dissemination of one of the great secrets of life that is slowly emerging into mainstream consciousness – the law of attraction.

Quite simply, the law of attraction suggests that the ultimate creative power in determining the conditions of our lives (financial, relational, health, etc.) is our habits of thought. As such, it is vitally important that we develop a greater understanding of the creative power of thought, as well as utilizing processes that will allow us to transform our core beliefs and thoughts, that we may transform our lives. The purpose of this website is to offer such tools.

Kevin Kinchen was born October 18, 1981 to Ronald and Donna Kinchen, the second born of five children, in Saginaw, Michigan.

Though he was raised in the Baptist Church, from an early age he displayed an inexplicable affinity for Eastern philosophy and spirituality. By his teenage years he had developed a great interest in the non-theistic philosophy of Buddhism.

In the fall of 2000, in the midst of an existential crisis, he decided that he was so desperate for answers that he would “try anything, even God.” It was at this point in his life that he first discovered the “Conversations with God” series of books that would forever alter his perceptions of life. Here, in these books, he discovered for the first time the philosophy that “we create our own reality.” He would spend the next seven years of his life studying metaphysics, seeking to understand more precisely the mechanics of such creation.

In the spring of 2004, upon the suggestion of a colleague, he transferred previous accumulated college credits to Naropa University, a Buddhist-inspired, liberal arts university in Boulder, CO. There he studied and practiced meditation, as well as investigated the nature of mind, graduating in the spring of 2006 with a degree in contemplative psychology.

In the fall of 2006, after studying “The Law of Attraction” by Jerry and Ester Hicks, he felt a merging of all of his previous studies and experience in meditation and metaphysics, and was inspired to share this synthesis of knowledge with others through the “Creative Power of Thought.”
